Family Roots

Our families define who we are. We get high cheekbones and quirky mannerisms from parents, balding hair and tall stature from grandparents, and last names from ancestors many, many generations back. It's no surprise, then, that people have always been highly interested in their family roots. Even though few people stay in the same small town that their parents and grandparents grew up in and family bibles do not frequent as many homes as they once did, maintaining ancestor histories is still as important to people as it ever was. In fact, doing ancestor research is becoming an increasingly popular pastime.

Recognizing this challenge, James W. Petty, a certified and accredited genealogist, decided to create Heirlines Family History and Genealogy, a company that would provide genealogical research services to people who want to trace their family tree but either lack sufficient time and resources to do so on their own or are stuck at a particular point and are not sure how to proceed.

Genealogical Research Services

Heirlines' genealogical research services are designed to provide research assistance to people at all stages of the family history research process.

Evaluation of Prior Research. This service is intended to help you determine where to go from the work that your relatives have already done. The professional genealogists at Heirlines will look over the results of previous researchers to see what they have accomplished and will recommend to you where and how they think you should go forward with the research on your family roots.

Survey and Analysis. Getting started is one of the most difficult parts about tracing your ancestors because there are so many different paths for you to follow. This survey will help you determine what sources are available for your family research. After searching computer databases and the basic resources at the Family History Library of Utah, Heirlines will point you in the direction they think best for getting started.

Research and Analysis. If you just don't have the time right now but you don't want to delay discovering your family roots, let Heirlines do it for you. Whether you want them to do 10, 20, 40, or 120 hours of research for you, you will receive an easy-to-read report detailing the premium research and analysis work they have done on your family roots. In addition to the report, you will also receive a copy of all the relevant documents which could include anything from death certificates to immigration and naturalization records, journals to probate records.

Professional Consultation

Don't put off discovering your family roots another day. Contact Heirlines for a free consultation and get started (or keep going) on your family history work with professional assistance.
